I thought I was having a rough morning when I ran out of coffee and then I saw it. Screaming for it’s life in a cereal bowl, this little one made me remember that my existence isn’t all that bad…it could be much worse.
Ako je vasa zena napravila placke ovako, nemoj jesti! Idi kupi joj cvjece I reci da ti je zao!!!!
English translation: If your wife cooks you placke like this, don’t eat it! Go buy her flowers and say I’m sorry!
I was making a traditional Croatian food called placka when this one happened. It was too good not to use in my food characters section, and so here is #4 Deadly Placka
I REFUSE to be bacon!!! I am blazing my own trail. You cannot make me follow the trail of the “normal pig fate” and how I will be consumed. I told everyone at the barnyard I am different. They said I was too much of a chicken to be different. They all laughed. Well, who is laughing now! Huh? Who is laughing now?!
This is the second intro to a “family” of food characters I have collected over the years. She is simple yet I find her to be note worthy. I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, never do I rummage through it first. It must be inhaled before I have the time to think and reject what is going to be regret by the time it hits my stomach. So the fact that I found her love between two buns is a miracle in itself. It is as if she called to me. She needed someone to notice her. Notice she was special before being consumed by the consumer. She may have been bitter by the time I found her, but she began as a pure heart. All love. My little pickeld buns of love. So, I suppose the only thing left to do is ask, ” Would you like fries with that?”
I am always finding, and taking pictures of, weird food I find. It is usually in some sort of human form. It started with a cheetoh that literally looked like a man running. He was epic. We kept him, stale, standing in his running position, on the counter for weeks. Everyone loved his picture. So, as I began finding more food objects that resembled lifelike things, I kept taking pictures. Until now, this part of my life has not been introduced into my blog. Well, you are in for a treat my friends. Tonight, I introduce, not only this part of my life, but this gem of a find. He has lovingly been referred to as Smiling Heart and E.T. so far. Please feel free to comment and add your personal name for him as well as future posts in this category for other “characters”.
